EA teases Grass Effect mashup for E3 (update)

Today on Twitter and Facebook, Electronic Arts teased something called Grass Effect, which looks like a mashup between PopCap's Plants vs. Zombies and BioWare's Mass Effect.

Check out the full picture below to see the teaser image posted on social networks accompanied by the question, "Plants vs. … Reapers?" EA's posts also included the #EAE3 hashtag, hinting that we'll get a closer look at EA's favorite plants on the Citadel soon. EA's E3 press conference is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET on June 10. Polygon will be there to bring you all the news as EA reveals next-gen games from DICE, EA Sports and BioWare.

Update: A new tweet on the official EA Twitter account throws Dead Space into the mix with the text "Zombies on Tau Volantis!" and the picture below teasing something called Dead Face.
