Rayman Legends trailer shows perilous obstacles and epic battles

Ubisoft shared a new trailer for platformer Rayman Legends today during its E3 press conference, showing the title's cast of characters embroiled in a series of epic battles.

Check out the trailer above for a look at Rayman and newcomers Barbara and Murfy barreling through levels at breakneck pace, evading baddies and looking for Lums. Rayman Legends will launch on Sept. 3 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PlayStation Vita.

Rabbids Invasion is an interactive TV show coming to Nickelodeon

Ubisoft is partnering with France Television and Nickelodeon to create an interactive Rabbids TV show, Rabbids Invasion, it was announced today at the Ubisoft E3 press conference.

Using the Xbox One, players will be able to interact with the TV show by undertaking interactive missions with the game's characters, dancing with them and completing puzzle and observation games.

Rabbids Invasion is "coming soon," but no release date was given.

Next Tom Clancy game, The Division, is a massively multiplayer RPG

The next Tom Clancy title is a massively multiplayer role-playing shooter called Tom Clancy's The Division and is being made by Ubisoft Massive, publisher Ubisoft announced during its E3 press briefing today.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot introduced an announcement trailer for the game, and the developers played a live demo on PS4 afterward.

Trials Fusion headed to consoles, Trials Frontier headed to smartphones

Two new games in the Trials motorbike racing franchise are coming, one to consoles and the other to smartphones, Ubisoft revealed at its E3 2013 press conference today.

Trial Fusion is coming to Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC, while Trials Frontier is headed to smartphones. The tagline for the games is "One future, two trials," referencing the games' ability to interact with each other.

Just Dance 2014 coming to 'all motion control platforms,' in October, also coming to next-gen

Just Dance 2014 will launch on "all motion control platforms" in October, and will arrive on next-gen platforms after that, Ubisoft announced during its E3 press conference.

A few of the game's artists — a roster that includes Nicki Minaj, Psy and One Direction — and new features were revealed in a debut trailer. Up to six players will be able to dance at once this time around, and can participate in an "on stage mode," which wasn't explained in the video. The game will also feature a DJ mode, where players can switch between songs and "shape the music" by moving their bodies.

South Park: The Stick of Truth coming this holiday season

South Park: The Stick of Truth, the upcoming licensed RPG from Obsidian and new publisher Ubisoft, will launch this holiday season, a trailer for the title aired at Ubisoft's E3 2013 press conference revealed.

The release window was snuck into the end of the aforementioned trailer in a quote from South Park's Eric Cartman, who said the 360, PS3 and Windows PC title would launch either this holiday season "or some holiday season sometime soon, you know how video games work." In May, we learned the game was on track for a 2013 launch, so it certainly seems like his disclaimer was satirical.

Ubisoft racer The Crew unveiled

Ubisoft announced its new driving franchise The Crew at its E3 conference today, due for release in early 2014.

The Crew is being developed by Ivory Tower in conjunction with Ubisoft Reflections. The game demo focused on multiplayer drop-in, drop-out integration and vehicular upgrades, as well as its pan-U.S racing options. It features a 20-hour mission structure and a multitude of upgrades and vehicles.

The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot now in closed beta

The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot is now in closed beta, Ubisoft announced during its E3 press conference today.

Interested participants can sign up to play Ubisoft's free-to-play Windows PC title at its official website. Currently there is no set release date.

The title tasks players will constructing a fortress and filling it with creatures that will defend their property from treasure hunters. Players will simultaneously have to try and break down their foes' defenses as well in order to steal their goods.

Ubisoft announces 'all new' Rocksmith 2014 Edition

Ubisoft announced Rocksmith 2014 Edition featuring Kinect functionality during its E3 2013 press conference today.

As part of the announcement, Alice in Chains' frontman Jerry Cantrell performed on stage using the instructional guitar-playing game. Cantrell navigated the game's menu with Kinect voice commands during the demonstration. Rocksmith 2014 Edition will feature four instruments: guitar, drums, bass and keyboards. It will include several game modes, such as learn a song, guitarcade, techniques, session mode, non-stop play and multiplayer.

Ubisoft E3 2013 lineup includes Assassin’s Creed 4, South Park, Watch Dogs

Ubisoft will showcase Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, Rayman Legends, South Park: The Stick of Truth and many more on the E3 show floor, the company announced via press release.

Additionally, the company will also feature Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Watch Dogs and several other unnamed titles. Uplay members will be able to participate in the company's Uplay Lounge, located near the convention center. Members will be able to play games from this year's lineup and interact with different members of their development teams.
