Game Critics Awards announces Best of E3 2013 nominees, Titanfall dominates

The Game Critics Awards announced the Best of E3 2013 nominees today, showering Titanfall with six nominations including Best of Show.

Respawn Entertainment's online-only multiplayer-focused shooter, Titanfall, received nominations for Best of Show, Best Original Game, Best Console Game, Best PC Game, Best Action Game and Best Online Multiplayer. The previous record for most nominations was Naughty Dog's The Last of Us with five nominations at last year's E3, of which it won all of its nominated categories.

Ubisoft's Watch Dogs followed Titanfall closely with five nominations for Best of Show, Best Original Game, Best Console Game, Best Action/Adventure Game and Best Online Multiplayer. Notably, out of all of the publishers, EA received the most nominations with 16.

Games playable on the E3 2013 show floor were eligible for Game Critics Awards nominations. The full list of nominees and respective categories are as follows:
