Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's third piece of downloadable content, Vengeance, will be available to PlayStation 3 and Windows PC players Aug. 1, publisher Activision announced today.
As usual, the PS3 and PC releases will come approximately one month after the Xbox 360 launch, which took place July 2.
Vengeance contains three new multiplayer maps: Cove, Rush (screenshot above) and Detour. The fourth, Uplink, is a remake of the Summit map from the original Call of Duty: Black Ops. The DLC also includes an addition to the Zombies mode called Buried, which pits players against the undead in an Old West mining town underground, and a new Zombies weapon, the Ray Gun Mark II.
Vengeance will be free to owners of the Black Ops 2 season pass, and will cost $14.99 for all other players. You can check out a trailer for the DLC below.
