Path of Exile, Grinding Gear Games' action role-playing game, has been integrated with Twitch streaming, according to a recent press release.
Path of Exile is now supported with channel chat, which allows players to converse directly through the stream. Additionally, players can stream gameplay directly from the game client with full webcam support. The integration also makes real-time spectatorship possible; players can view leaderboards to find out who's playing.
Players need only link their Path of Exile account with a Twitch account to use the service. Once connected, players can click on other profiles to visit individual players streams.
The free-to-play title is currently available in open beta. Grinding Gears continues to add new events as the game progresses into its next season; last month, players had the chance to try out single-player challenges as part of the "Descent League."
