Capcom bringing four games, three panels to Comic-Con

Capcom's Comic-Con 2013 lineup is a packed one, with four playable games and three different panels covering its impending release slate as well as its 30-year history, the publisher announced today.

Comic-Con attendees will be able to play some of the games in Capcom's upcoming 2013 lineup — Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies, DuckTales Remastered and Lost Planet 3 — at the company's booth on the show floor, #215 in Hall A. The booth will also feature recently released titles such as Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.

Capcom's first panel this year, the always-packed "World of Capcom" session, will run from 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, in Room 6BCF. Moderator Francis Mao will lead discussions of Dead Rising 3, Dual Destinies, Lost Planet 3, DuckTales Remastered and "a few other surprises." He'll also be running a trivia contest for Capcom's 30th anniversary, which occurred last month.

The usual Street Fighter panel will take place Friday, July 19, from 4-5 p.m. in Room 25ABC. Street Fighter producer Yoshinori Ono will be in attendance, likely to recap the announcement at Evo this past weekend of Ultra Street Fighter 4. Capcom is also looking for Street Fighter cosplayers for a "Mr. and Mrs. Street Fighter" pageant.

Finally, some of the developers behind DuckTales Remastered will host a panel Sunday, July 21 from 10-11 a.m. in Room 25ABC. They'll discuss how they did their best not to "ruin anyone's childhood" while updating the 24-year-old NES classic that's the basis for the new game.

We'll be at Comic-Con this weekend to bring you all the latest news from the massive convention.
