2K Games is releasing a live-action video series that complements The Bureau: XCOM Declassified in the lead-up to the game's Aug. 20 launch.
The series began as a standalone live-action trailer, which was released back in April and told a fragmented story of an alien conspiracy. Due to the great response it received, 2K commissioned more videos, with the second live-action trailer launching today (see above).
The video is full of allusions to the game, with alien-looking silhouettes appearing in reflections, Morse code playing at the 38 second mark that translates to "Outsiders are here" and references to the first and future trailers.
A 2K spokesperson told Polygon that there are easter eggs within the video that reveal when the next trailer will be available and the time at which it will release. The vintage Morse alien puppet used in the video is also up for auction on eBay, with all proceeds going to charity.
The first live-action trailer and an interview with the game's developers can be viewed here.
