Grid 2 gets six souped-up cars in Peak Performance Pack

Grid 2 players can now get six high-performance cars by buying the Peak Performance Pack, which is launching today on Steam and PlayStation Network for $4.99 and on Xbox Live Marketplace for 400 Microsoft Points ($5), publisher Codemasters announced today.

It will cost £3.19 in the U.K. and €3.99 in Europe. The Peak Performance Pack is already available on Windows PC and Xbox 360, and will be released on PlayStation 3 along with this week's PlayStation Store update (today in North America, and tomorrow in Europe).

The add-on contains six maxed-out versions of these cars: Dodge Charger RT, Ford Mustang Mach 1 Twister Special, Chevrolet Camaro Z28 RS SS 1970, BMW E30 M3, BMW 1 Series M Coupe and VW Golf R. Each vehicle has been outfitted with paint jobs, body modifications and tuning upgrades that turn the stock Tier 1 cars into Tier 2 vehicles.

You can watch a trailer for the DLC above. Grid 2 launched in May on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
