New Super Luigi U contest is for players with least amount of coins

Nintendo is running a competition for New Super Luigi U players to grab the least amount of coins during a playthrough, game director Masataka Takemoto announced via the Miiverse website.

New Super Luigi U is an expansion to New Super Mario Bros. U featuring more difficult levels and Luigi as the main character. After completing the game, players can travel to an island to check game records. Once there, they can track and snap a photo of their coin collections. Takemoto will take entries until Aug. 18, which players can submit by attaching a screenshot to a comment on the original post.

Earlier this month, Nintendo announced that it used bunny baddie Nabbit as a multiplayer character in the game to avoid adding Mario. For more on New Super Luigi U, check out our review.
