Total War: Rome 2 trailer introduces Rome's most legendary foe

A new trailer for Total War: Rome 2 focuses on the exploits of Rome's legendary nemesis, Hannibal Barca of Carthage.

The trailer features Roman leaders arguing over the whereabouts of Hannibal and his army, and where they believe he might attack next. Perhaps he might land a naval attack on a port, or perhaps his navy is not sailing to war but instead to form allegiances. There are many different possibilities for a commander who seeks to wipe Rome off the map, after all.

One leader suggests he could come from the north, but the others laugh off the suggestion. That, of course, would mean he would have to cross the Alps; would he bring an army of elephants with him as well?

Total War: Rome 2 hits Windows PC on September 3.
