Google Glass game mixes Space Invaders with Missile Command

Developer Sean McCracken's upcoming game for Google Glass, Psyclops, combines old-school shooting mechanics with the hands-free functionality of the device.

McCracken posted a short video of the game displayed on a Kindle for the demonstration. He describes it as a mix of "old school" Space Invaders and Missile Command; players target and take out mobile obstacles. You can watch the video above for more on how Psyclops looks and runs.

Psyclops has reportedly been in development since last month, when McCracken received his Glass as part of the If I Had Glass competition. A release date for the game has not yet been announced. According to McCracken's Google+ profile, however, Psyclops is "almost done."
