Road Rash spiritual successor heading to Steam

Road Redemption, the spiritual successor to Road Rash, will launch for Windows PC, Mac and Linux via Steam, DarkSeas Games announced today.

Road Redemption is one of 100 titles that passed through Steam Greenlight today. The game pairs motorcycle combat racing with online multiplayer and ragdoll physics. Earlier this year, the game was funded via Kickstarter. More than 4,000 backers raised $173,803, overshooting the $160,000 goal. In addition to its Steam editions, it's also being developed for Xbox 360 and Wii U.

Pre-orders for Road Redemption are currently available through Paypal; registration for the closed alpha and beta versions is open on the game's website.
