Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney coming stateside in 2014

Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney will launch on Nintendo 3DS in North America sometime next year, the company revealed in a Nintendo Direct this morning.

The mash-up, puzzle-solving title from Level-5 and Capcom launched in Japan last November. The two studios have been somewhat cagey about the game's westward localization; Level 5 CEO Akihiro Hino said that "something was in the works" during the Japan Expo in France early last month.

Nintendo did not reveal a release window more specific than 2014 during the Nintendo Direct presentation.

Update: The title will also come to Europe in "early 2014," Nintendo announced during the European version of today's Nintendo Direct presentation.
