Ultima Forever now out on iOS

Ultima Forever: Quest of the Avatar, a free-to-play spiritual successor to Ultima 4, is now out on iOS.

The game was first announced in February with little clue to its launch date beyond a statement from EA Mobile that it would be revealed "soon." Ultima Forever follows on 21 years after the events of Ultima 4 with players handed missions by the daughter of the now-retired Lord British.

An Android version will be made available at a later date, while a version for Windows PC "wouldn't be hard to do," producer Carrie Grouskos told Polygon in an interview earlier in the year.
