This is the Riddick game Vin Diesel was talking about

Richard B. Riddick is headed to the iOS App store.

Riddick: The Merc Files is a stealth-infused action game from some of the developers behind Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay and Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena. It's in development at Gaming Corps and will cast players in the role of the titular hero as he escapes the surrounding mercs, according to a press release from the developer.

The developers also plan to "evolve and expand" Riddick: The Merc Files through updates, according to Gaming Corps creative director and lead designer Jens Larsson. Riddick will hit the iOS App Store Sept. 20, according to the trailer above.

"We are excited to be working with some of the original key Starbreeze team members behind previous Riddick games in order to expand the canon of the Riddick universe," said Cos Lazouras of Vin Diesel's Tigon Studios. "The team has captured the essence of the franchise, and applied an originality of design to the mobile platforms."

Diesel teased the game in a recent interview, in which he said he'd "reassembled" the Escape from Butcher Bay development team.
