Deception 4: Blood Ties announced for PS3 and Vita

Deception 4: Blood Ties, a "re-imagining" of the 1996 PlayStation game Tecmo's Deception: Invitation to Darkness, is in development for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, according to a post on Tecmo Koei's official Facebook page.

The game is scheduled for an early 2014 release, according to a post on Tecmo Koei Europe's official site.

"The Deception series uniquely focuses in giving players a taste of what it's like to play on the side of evil by using a wide variety of imaginative traps to exact revenge on their adversaries," the Facebook post reads.

The 1996 original, which was known as Devil's Deception in Europe, followed the story of a man who made a deal with the devil to escape death and winds up ruling the Castle of the Damned.
