The Last of Us takes the lead in this year's video game BAFTA nominations

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts revealed this year's video game nominees, announcing The Last of Us is leading the pack of celebrated games with 10 nominations.

The Naughty Dog release is up for awards in Best Game, Game Design, Artistic Design and Performance nomination categories, while Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto 5 follows closely behind with nine nominations.

Hosted again this year by comedian Dara O'Briain, the awards will take place on March 12 in London. Tickets for the awards ceremony will be available to the public for the first time in its 10 year history. Tickets include access to Inside Games and cost £30.
