Players who register a Nintendo 3DS and one of six games at Club Nintendo during the month of March will get a free copy of Pokemon X or Pokemon Y, Nintendo announced this morning.
Users must register a Nintendo 3DS, 3DS XL or 2DS handheld between March 1 and 31 along with one of six games: Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins, Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D Land and upcoming title Yoshi's New Island.
After registering these items on the Club Nintendo website, players will receive a free download code for Pokemon X or Y. The code must be redeemed before May 31, 2014.
Pokemon X and Y launched last fall for the 3DS, and is currently available at retail and in the 3DS eShop for $39.99. Check out Polygon's review as well as our tips and tricks guide for picking and training your Pokemon.
