Sci-fi-centric massively multiplayer game Perpetuum is coming to Steam on April 23, developer Avatar Creations announced on the studio's official blog.
For users who already own the game, a free copy will be made available on Steam by linking both Steam and Perpetuum accounts on the studio's official website.
The developer will reset Gamma islands in the game, areas where players can freely attack one another, in order to introduce new terraform limitations and colony building network restrictions among other changes. Twitch integration is also planned, to bring one-click video streaming to the client.
Avatar Creations recently announced its plans to drop Perpetuum's monthly subscription payment model. Starting April 2, users will only be required to purchase the game, while in-game item purchases will also be available.
