Monster Hunter 4G trailer is all about the monsters

The latest trailer for Monster Hunter 4G shows the game's deadly creatures in action, giving players a look at these beasties ahead of the Nintendo 3DS title's release.

The trailer above features a desert-like environment packed with monsters, pockmarked by rocky structures and hidden caverns, all under the bright glare of the sun. The trailer shows a player character locked in heated combat with a handful of the creatures, which use attacks ranging from water streams to sand blasts to brute force with tooth and claw.

4G is an updated edition of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, which was released in Japan for 3DS in fall of last year. Monster Hunter 4G will launch in Japan in fall of this year while the original Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will launch in North America and Europe in early 2015.
