The Nintendo 2DS will be available in North America in a new color, Sea Green, as of June 6, Nintendo of America announced today.
It will cost $129.99, the same as the existing models. Nintendo of America is also releasing Tomodachi Life on June 6.
Sea Green will be the third standard color of the 2DS alongside Crimson Red and Electric Blue, the two launch variants from last October. Both of those units feature an all-black front side with the color on the back, while the Sea Green model is white on the front and back, with turquoise accents on the D-pad, buttons, stylus and edge. Nintendo also released a limited-edition Peach Pink 2DS last month alongside Disney Magical World; that unit was available exclusively at GameStop in North America.
The Nintendo 2DS is a redesigned version of the Nintendo 3DS that does not offer stereoscopic 3D and comes in a slate form factor instead of a clamshell design. For more details on the Sea Green 2DS, check out a full-size image.
