Supergiant Games' action role-playing game Transistor is now available for pre-order for PlayStation 4 and Windows PC, the developer announced on its blog.
The full game as well as a bundle including the Transistor soundtrack is now available for pre-order through Steam and Supergiant's website, while PS4 pre-orders will go live when the PlayStation Store updates later today. Digital and physical versions of the soundtrack are also available through the developer's website, and include bonus track "Signals" created specially for the release.
Additionally, Supergiant revealed that for the PS4 version of Transistor, the DualShock 4 light bar will flash in sync when the Transistor speaks. The game also features 30 Trophies, including a Platinum Trophy, and supports Vita Remote Play and content sharing via the Share button. The Windows PC version will feature full controller support, remappable controls, and Steamworks integration including cloud saving, achievements and Steam Trading Cards.
Supergiant notes that pre-orders for the game through its website are for unlockable Steam codes; Transistor will be DRM-free through Steam and can be played offline, but the studio has no plans for a standalone DRM-free version of the title at this time.
"The Steam version of the game includes various features that require Steam, such as cloud saves, achievements, and trading cards, and for launch we did not want to create a separate version lacking these features," reads the post. "Note we have put no DRM in Transistor unless you count Steam as a form of DRM."
Transistor, announced shortly before PAX East 2013, will launch on May 20.
