Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn trailer reveals patch 2.3, 'Defenders of Eorzea'

Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn is expanding again, and a video released today puts the upcoming patch 2.3 Defenders of Eorzea in motion.

Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn director Naoki Yoshida told Polygon at E3 2014 that patch 2.3 will also bring large-scale player-versus-player to the game. The MMO's next major expansion — 3.0 — will be detailed at the Final Fantasy 14 Fan Festivals this fall.
