Evolve 3D printer character models available

As a promotion for the upcoming "four versus one" shooter Evolve, where four hunters take on one of the game's monsters, developer Turtle Rock and publisher 2K have made 3D files of the game's characters available online. The idea being, those with access to a 3D printer — or those willing to pay a company to print them on their behalf — can input the files and create their own Evolve action figures.

The game's official site explains how to do this, which basically involves finding access to a 3D printer and then printing them.

Evolve is scheduled to release Oct. 21 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and recently took home the Best in Show prize from the E3 2014 Game Critics Awards.
