Play Alien Isolation, Sonic Boom and more at Nerd HQ's Comic-Con event

Nerd HQ, an annual event for attendees to hangout, attend panels and play games, will return for its fifth year at Petco Park, The Nerd Machine announced today.

Nerd HQ is not officially affiliated with San Diego Comic-Con, the city's annual pop culture convention, but takes place at the same time — July 24 - 27. It will feature game demo showcases from Sega, including Alien: Isolation and Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal.

Those who stop by the event can check out the "Conversations for a Cause" panels, which will feature the likes of Jeff Bridges, Norman Reedus and Evangeline Lily; panel tickets are $22, and sales will go to support charity Operation Smile.

Nerd HQ will also include a gaming gallery, a dance party, giveaways and more. For a look at last year's highlights, watch the video above.
