Every Battle of Hoth level compiled into one video is arguably better than Star Wars prequels

The quality of Star Wars video games is inconsistent, but so long as they're set in the original trilogy you can assume the Battle of Hoth level will be magical. YouTuber MikeB has cut together a compilation video featuring every version of Battle of Hoth.

The video doubles as a tour of video game history. Few (if any) scenes have been recreated so many times over so many years, and each version hits the same key moments: shooting droids, evading enemy fire and finally nailing the setpiece: firing a cord into an AT-AT and tripping the mechanical colossus.

Which version of the Battle of Hoth is your favorite?

[UPDATE: If you like this video, behold this work of mad brilliance created by Kotaku's Stephen Totilo.]
