Activision is making a Duck Dynasty game
A&E's reality show Duck Dynasty is getting the video game treatment from Activision, which pledges to let players "become a Robertson" in a variety of activities, like duck hunting, fishing, airboat racing and more.
The licensed game, which is coming to Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, also appears to have some sort of story-based campaign, in which players will be able to pull pranks and blow shit up in an effort to ingratiate themselves to the Robertson family. There's even first-person duck calling.
The wildlife action of Duck Dynasty appears to be developed by Bucharest, Romania-based Fun Labs. That's the team behind a large number of licensed Activision titles in the Cabela's hunting and Rapala fishing series, as well as games like Men in Black: Alien Crisis.
Duck Dynasty will be released Oct. 14, according to the game's first trailer.
