There are a lot of big upgrades coming to World of Warcraft's next expansion, Legion, including new zones, tons of quests and the other things you'd expect from a massively multiplayer online game add-on. But one element that a lot of people have forgotten about is the huge visual upgrade the game will be receiving.
In particular, Blizzard has revealed that it will be greatly increasing the draw distances in zones, allowing players to see much farther than they used to. Using the currently ongoing World of Warcraft: Legion alpha, Reddit user Kastel197 has taken some screenshots from the same locations to show off just how big the improvement will be.
Check out the direct comparison below.
World of Warcraft: Legion is due out in summer 2016. An alpha test is ongoing, and a wider beta test is planned for later this year.
