Mortal Kombat X's season pass will add four playable characters to the game's roster, including masked killer Jason Voorhees, publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today, Friday the 13th of March.
The season pass, the "Kombat Pack," costs £24.99 in the U.K. and $29.99 in North America. It's included in all four North American special editions of Mortal Kombat X, and in the Premium Edition in Europe. Jason will later be joined by a second special guest character and two "Klassic Mortal Kombat Kombatants," said Warner Bros. in a press release.
Some of the content in the Kombat Pack will be available at launch, including the Samurai Pack, which comes with character skins for Ronin Kenshi, Samurai Shinnok and Jingu Kitana. Each new playable character in the Kombat Pack will also come with its own skin pack. Owners of the Kombat Pack will get early access to the DLC before it goes on sale separately.

Update: The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Mortal Kombat X have been delayed worldwide to this summer, a representative for Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment confirmed to Polygon today. High Voltage Software, not NetherRealm Studios, is developing Mortal Kombat X on PS3 and Xbox 360 as well as Windows PC. The PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions are still set to launch April 14.
