Final Fantasy Type-0, which gets a high-definition re-release in the West on Tuesday, was conceived as a kind of clean slate for the franchise back in 2011, according to director Hajime Tabata. Well, it'll have a sequel, if this teaser at the end of the game's HD remaster for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is any indication.
Spoiler warning: This video is the ending of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD.
The clip doesn't come right out and say there will be a Final Fantasy Type-1, but it does suggestion a continuation of the story begun in Type-0. And last year, Tabata told Kotaku he would "want to make Final Fantasy Type-1" before making a Final Fantasy 16.
