I have to believe that being locked in a box for a long journey only to go straight to drinking after being freed and then being asked to help save the world will lead to pretty much one outcome, and it's just as unpleasant as you'd expect.
The fun bit is that Tyrion goes right back to drinking.
This was a sad scene in many ways. We know the Unsullied have been castrated, but they're not without the need for companionship and physical comfort. On the other hand, they're the cold hand of authority in the city, which makes this murder all the more gruesome. It shows the Unsullied are vulnerable in two ways, and it's bad news for Daenerys.
The worse news?
She no longer has control over her dragons, as seen in this intense moment when she goes to visit them.
But perhaps the most unintentionally goofy moment comes when Mance gets the arrow in the chest. It's a tense moment in the episode, and says much about both characters, but I'm not sure how an actor prepares for that moment when you're burning alive and are surprised to suddenly be hit in the heart with an arrow. But here we are.
We'll see you next week, but for now read our more serious look at the episode, and for the love of Joffrey avoid the low quality leaked episodes.
