Ubisoft teases the next Assassin's Creed for May 12 reveal
The next Assassin's Creed game will be revealed on May 12, according to Ubisoft's official website.
Ubisoft posted an animated teaser for the new Assassin's Creed game, showing off what appears to be the protagonist's hands wielding the trademark assassin wrist-blade, brass knuckles, a cane and wrist-mounted pistol.
The game's website features references to the name Jacob, which could be the name of the main character, and the phrase "oppression has to end."
The next Assassin's Creed may have been outed last year as Assassin's Creed Victory, a game set in 19th century Victorian London. The new Assassin's Creed is reportedly set for a 2015 release on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.
Ubisoft says it will reveal its new Assassin's Creed on May 12 at 5 p.m. UK time (12 p.m. ET) during a livestream.
