A winter wonderland is coming to Colossal Order's city building simulation Cities: Skylines thanks to the game's upcoming Snowfall expansion.
Colossal Order and publisher Paradox Interactive announced Snowfall today, promising to bring new weather effects, a new winter map and new city simulation options based on the effects of colder temperatures. Snowfall will introduce snowplows, expanded public transportation options and new water-based heat systems.
Existing Cities: Skylines owners will get new cosmetic weather options — rain and fog — as part of a free update, but those who purchase Snowfall will get more when it comes to Linux, Mac and Windows PC later this year. Check out the expansion's first teaser above.
