Olly Moss, the pop artist known for his dramatic takes on classic franchises, unveiled a seven-print, original series based on Harry Potter.
Created in collaboration with Pottermore, the online home for the works of J. K. Rowling, each of Moss’ prints is based on one of the seven core Harry Potter books. The imposing shape of Hogwarts Castle dominates the right-hand side, while the middle of the frame is reserved for Moss’ now iconic shaded silhouettes.
The hand-numbered giclee prints are 16-by-24 inches each, and will be produced as a timed edition. That means Moss will print as many as he can take orders for between now and 10 am ET on Oct. 25. Individual prints are available for $50, while the entire set runs $275. You can find more information, including details on how to order, at Moss’ official website.
It’s not the first time that the British artist has worked with the Potter franchise. In December of last year he announced that he had been commissioned to create a set of book covers for a reprint of the series. He’s also recently created posters for the narrative exploration game called Firewatch, which he also co-wrote and directed.
