Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes has been available for some time, but the team here at Polygon hasn't really had a chance to mess around with it. Until now.
Keep Talking is a party game where one player takes on the role of a clueless bomb disposal technician, while their friends pretend to know how to defuse bombs. It's a game about isolation and communication, telling your friends what you see and having your friends tell you what to do next to prevent yourself from becoming a hot steaming pile of partially vaporized meat. It's a hell of a lot of fun, and we would like to add that this video is not suitable for work (NSFW).
While I didn't get the full Oculus Rift experience, I was able to achieve a splendid level of isolation thanks to my working remotely in northern Illinois. Joining me on this special mission are Susana Polo and Samit Sarkar from the New York office, Dave Tach in Ohio and Griffin "Cool Hands" McElroy in the Texas bomb shelter. We hope you enjoy our confusion and misery.
And if anyone wants to teach me Morse code, I'd be down with that.
