A live broadcast focused on Persona 5 will air on NicoNico next week, Atlus announced. At 8:30 a.m. ET on May 5, Persona enthusiasts can tune in to the stream — which promises to reveal "all new information."
It's not a coincidence that the event premieres May 5, the same day that a Persona 5-themed countdown clock is scheduled to end. The timer is hosted on the game's official website, where fans can find it counting directly toward the livestream.
Other than new information about its latest Persona game, Atlus hasn't said much more about what to expect from the stream. The company also hasn't said when fans can get their hands on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 game beyond a summer 2016 window for Japan.
Persona 5 was originally set for a 2015 release. The game, which Atlus says will tell a story unlike previous entries in the role-playing series, is the series' first mainline entry since 2008's Persona 4.
