Atlus hosted a Persona 5 livestream earlier today, debuting a new look at the day-to-day activities of its protagonist, as well as battle footage and more. Among the things that the Phantom Thieves get up to in the archived look above are solving crossword puzzles for stat boosts, going to a public bath and, later, heaping tons of damage on enemies.
Among the new pieces of info seen are the game's crafting system, which allows players to create their own items, as well as the various poses for characters when performing finishing moves. Persona Central has a detailed liveblog of what's happening in the Japanese-only stream, which aired this morning.
Overall, it's the latest detailed look at the game, especially for fans who have been following the newest Persona game closely. Even more news is promised later today with a second stream, and the Persona 5 website teases more to come.
This month's stream is the first since E3 2016, when Atlus gave fans plenty of new gameplay to marvel at ahead of the role-playing game's Japanese launch. Persona 5 finally arrives in Japan on Sept. 15 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, while players stateside will have to wait until 2017 to get their hands on the RPG, the series' first mainline entry since 2008.
