"Virtual Tickets" are again on sale to help would-be BlizzCon goers see everything at the expo from their homes.
The tickets went on sale yesterday and cost $39.99. They provide streaming video coverage of BlizzCon's 2016 panels, interviews with developers and the con's gala closing ceremony. All the video of main-stage and panel-stage events will be available on-demand for three weeks after the show.
BlizzCon 2016 is Nov. 4-5 at the Anaheim Convention Center. Convention tickets went on sale in April and have long since sold out.
The Virtual Ticket also provides a slew of swag, both virtual and physical items. The ticket provides in-game goodies for World of Warcraft, Overwatch, StarCraft 2, Diablo 3, Heroes of the Storm and Hearthstone.
And BlizzCon's goodie bag is again on sale for those who can't attend in person; the Virtual Ticket entitles the bearer to pre-order the swag bag that attendees get, as well as shop for official merchandise sold at the con, from Oct. 10 to Nov. 6.
For those who don't buy the ticket, Blizzard will stream, for free, the expo's opening ceremony and the esports events to be held there. DirecTV is also offering a $39.99 pay-per-view to its subscribers that also includes a Virtual Ticket and everything it includes.
