Snipperclips - Cut it out, together! is a co-op puzzle game Nintendo had previously announced as a launch-window title, but has now confirmed will be available at the system’s launch on March 3.
“Available exclusively in Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch for $19.99, the charming game features three main game modes,” the announcement states. “Grab a friend or go it alone in World mode, or invite some more friends who can make the cut and play Party mode or the fast-paced Blitz mode with two to four players.”
There will also be a free demo available on day one if you’d like to try it, because it can be a bit hard to describe.
“Cut paper characters into new shapes to solve dynamic puzzles and play activities in a wonderfully creative and imaginative world!” Nintendo’s official description states, and, while that’s a bit vague, you can watch the game in action in a video below.
Snipperclips joins the following games also available as part of the system’s March 3 launch:
- 1-2-Switch
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
- Skylanders Imaginators
- Just Dance 2017
- Super Bomberman R
- I Am Setsuna
- World of Goo
- Little Inferno
- Human Resource Machine
If you haven’t pre-ordered a Switch, you still may be able to chase one down at launch. It could also be worth waiting to make sure the day-one patch fixes the issues that pre-release hardware has been having with the left Joy-Con.
