Bungie has one more content drop coming to the original Destiny before we say goodbye to the game (and all of our gear). It’s called Age of Triumph, and based on a teaser released by the studio today, a big component of it will be a return to the game’s original raid, the Vault of Glass.
The teaser for Age of Triumph hints at what’s to come in Destiny’s next event, saying that players will “come full circle” and rediscover their “finest moments.” Bungie promises the “biggest record book yet” with Age of Triumph, hinting that at least seven pages’ worth of quests are in store for the content drop.
More exciting than a fresh list of space chores might be a chance to revisit Vault of Glass in a way that’s both challenging and rewarding for longtime Destiny players. It looks like we’ll be once again jumping to and from vanishing platforms and battling Atheon to the death, though how those experiences will change are still a mystery.
Bungie plans to reveal more about Age of Triumph in a livestream on Twitch this Wednesday, March 8 at 10 a.m. PT.
