Players level up from from a minor mercenary to a position of power, controlling the hero and large scale armies. The game was first announced back in 2008 and has suffered various iterations and delays. "Thank you to all the gamers who've been waiting for Kingdom Under Fire II for a long time," said producer and director Sang Youn Lee. "To make a better game, to make a new genre, there were several trials and we needed lots of time. Finally we're at the last stage."
Kingdom Under Fire II, expected later this year, is one of 25 free-to-play games in development for PlayStation 4 for the year ahead.
