Halogon Community Update: 2013 Playlists Posted by 343i

Howdy 'Halonauts' (puns..).

As we're knee deep in January now, things are slowly getting back to normal after the winter holidays in the world of 'vidya;' with plenty of headshots, double kills, and even overkills dominating Halogon events here in the Polygon community. Halogon events which Jimmy Shelton of the Polygon / Vox Video team is using as footage for a Halo 4 montage. What? You didn't know about that? Check the linked thread out for more details on how you can get involved with that project which is due to end in a few weeks.

But what better way for us to find new ways to spend a Sunday evening than for 343i to introduce new playlists over the next few weeks? Here's what they have in store for us:

Week of 1/21

"Forge Test" playlist (name not final): A rotational hopper featuring small Forge maps such as Relay. Help us test these maps by providing feedback and reporting bugs that will assist us in getting them ready for Matchmaking!

Specializations: Pioneer and Pathfinder Specializations unlocked for all players.

Week of 1/28

Grifball playlist: A rotational hopper featuring everybody’s favorite virtual sport. Catch the disease!

Specializations: Engineer and Stalker Specializations unlocked for all players.

Log in during the week to Xbox LIVE and add the PolygonHalo GT to your friends list, that way you can search through the mutual friends list and play with other Polynauts. Personally I'm excited for the Griffball playlist, but as it's the week of 1/28 we might not get it in time for the deadline at the end of the month.
