Props on front page Far Cry 3 video ad

Knowing how much of a commitment Polygon has made to presenting relevant ads, I wanted to commend the ad team on the Far Cry 3 ad at the top of the front page. It features 10 minutes of in-depth footage that legitimately got me more excited about the game. I'm usually one to ignore most kinds of ads, especially ones that contain video, but given my pre-existing interest in the game, I decided to go on a limb and check it out.

Maybe it's weird - especially with me being a journalist - to commend such a thing, but I appreciate when the ad salesmen think smart about their ad space to bring in revenue. Obviously it's the thing that keeps us journalists in working shape after all.
