Will Sony have to listen more carefully now since..

With the news of the PS4's piracy patent, does this mean that in order for them to 1up everyone who view the patent as a negative, they will have to listen to the community more? That might sound kind of confusing but what I mean is that, if we are to buy a game basically once for however much the next-gen titles cost and only once(unless we break, or lose the disc, etc) and have to keep paying that amount, should they be more earful of the community in ways of what games the community wants to see or tweaks and things like that? So it will be like "Yeah, cant have used games and but they're coming out with quality games).
