Why so much disparity between PlayStation Plus in North America and Europe

For the past couple of months, PlayStation plus Europe have been giving tons of great games that are not only highly rated, but also relatively new. Also Europe have been giving out greater ratio of PS3 retail to PSN then North America. Just within 2 months Europeans got Sleeping Dogs, Mass Effect 3, MGS HD and many more. Compared to that, North Americans got a very old game in Darksiders 1 (europeans got the much better sequel earlier), Lord of the rings, nothing much comes to my mind.

It just feels a lot unfair, considering everyone is paying the same amount and North American subscribers are really getting the shaft. I know I know Europeans used to get the shaft and I am happy for them. I just wish all of us from various regions got a fair treatment, nothing more or nothing less.
