Customer rights?

What right do a customer have after buying a game?

When you buy a somethings else like a TV, car or any other physical object and you usually have the rights to return it if you are not happy with it or if there is any other problems with the product.

But when you buy media you don't seem to have the same rights. I'm playing Syndicate on the PS3 and the game keeps freezing each time the game auto-saves. Kane Lynch 2 multiplayer was almost unplayed probably because of a bad netcode. And Crysis 2 had broken trophy +6 months after release. When do a customer have the rights to return his game?

Is it when there a known issue with the game ... without a promised patch and how long is acceptable time to wait for issue to be resolved or do we not have any rights at all?
