How do you play games? Is it about finishing them? Or truly experiencing them?

To be honest, I don't get enough time to play games; so the games I DO play are usually the "instant gratification" games like God of War, Call of Duty" etc.

It doesn't help that my TV is in the living room, so I just don't get the TV for as long as I would like. And honestly, when Im super tired, I'd rather come home and watch a little TV than play a game. But maybe that's just me.

I miss being able to lose myself in huge RPG worlds, and immerse myself in a game. I never used to care about FINISHING a game, but now, it seems like I finish a game, and I'm on to the next one.

What about you? Do you feel like your real life has changed your game playing habits and tastes? I used to be all about the experience of gaming, but now I just want to finish the games I play to catch up on my backlog. :(
