My son, Tristan, turns 12 this week. Not only did he ask for a gaming computer for his birthday, but he wants to build it with me.
I've got some ideas, but I know that plenty of you are much more versed in building out a new computer than I am, so I was hoping you might want to offer some suggestions.
I'm hoping to spend $500 to $750 for the computer and don't need a case, monitor, keyboard or mouse. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.
Here's what my dad was suggesting (it's a little over):
