Tristan's Birthday LAN party went pretty well

Tristan turned 12 this past Friday. (I know!!!)

He asked if he could have seven friends over and play video games. So I turned our basement into a big gaming room with four TVs, four Xbox 360s and plenty of food, drinks and couches.

At some point in the afternoon (They started at 3 p.m.) I was pretty sure they were just going to lose their minds and turn into a giant swirling twister of screaming pre-teens and testosterone and literally dismantle the basement. Fortunately, they kept peaking just shy of that.

By 11 p.m., after hours of video games, party games, running around outside with flashlights playing tag, dinner, cake and presents, they all crashed to watch Lord of the Rings. Everyone was out by midnight.

Success!

Here's a shot of the room, free of tweens. It's a panoramic, so it looks a little weird.
