Like I promised, here’s a couple photographs I took while I was away. This time, the theme is animal.


This is the animal market. This place sell various animals from cats, dogs, chickens, birds, fishes etc etc. Keeping birds became a common hobby for Javanese folks since…. the horses still bite iron. There’s singing competitions for several type of birds and the winners can worth hundreds to thousands dollars.

Another view of said market. You can buy all kind of animal feed here. From natural to processed version. From corn to maggots to baby ants to… stuff.


This one taken on a rural fish market. No, they aren’t pet. They are small eels. In a small aquarium. For consumption purposes. Hmmmm….. made me hungry >:D
